Increasing the temperature of the magnetic ordering in La0.33Sr0.67FeO3-δ by heat treatment

The dependences of the magnetic moment on the temperature M(T) and the magnetic field strength M(H) of the La0.33Sr0.67FeO3-δ samples before and after vacuum annealing were studied. At room temperature, the initial sample is a paramagnetic. Its M(T) curve clearly shows the Neel temperature of TN=196 K, which increases significantly as a result of annealing. After annealing, the compound La0.33Sr0.67FeO3-δ is in a magnetically ordered state at room temperature. Keywords: lanthanum orthoferrites, canted antiferromagnetism, vacuum annealing.
