The effect of thermomechanical effects on nanoscale discontinuities and mechanical properties of an amorphous Ni-based alloy obtained by ultrafast quenching

The effect of thermomechanical treatment on the parameters of discontinuities of excess free volume and a complex of mechanical properties has been studied for amorphous tapes with a thickness of ~70 μm obtained by ultrafast quenching. The features of the influence of excess free volume on the properties and stability of an amorphous alloy of increased volume (thickness) are analyzed.
