A spin-flop transition was observed in amorphous ferrimagnetic Dy-Co, films obtained by ion-plasma sputtering near the temperature of magnetic compensation. The temperature dependence of the critical field is described in the framework of the molecular field theory for a two-lattice ferrimagnet. An estimate of the effective constant of the inter-lattice exchange interaction is made. Keywords: amorphous magnetic films, ferrimagnetism, phase transition, magnetic anisotropy.
