Modelling the structure of homogeneous Co80Cu20 nanowires from nuclear magnetic resonance data

A three-dimensional model of copper clusters in homogeneous Co80Cu20 nanowires was proposed, which allowed us to interpret the experimental 59Co nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra. The nuclear magnetic resonance data show that in Co80Cu20 nanowires, copper atoms tend to cluster in the cobalt volume, the cluster size is estimated to be 30 atoms. Modeling of experimental NMR spectra showed that in homogeneous nanowires with the composition of Co80Cu20 copper clusters with extended shape are formed.
