The paper presents the results of a study of the effect of annealing on the critical current of YBCO Josephson junctions obtained by the method of a preliminary topology mask on a bicrystalline substrate. A strong, more than two-fold increase in the critical current of the Josephson junction was detected. This opens up opportunities for managing the current-voltage characteristic of Josephson junctions. Keywords: Josephson junctions, annealing, YBCO.
