Nonlinear currents and magnetic field in a metal irradiated with p-polarized visible radiation

The electric field structure and electron distribution function in a metal irradiated by p-polarized visible-frequency radiation have been studied. The resulting nonlinear currents and the magnetic field generated by them have been determined. Keywords: skin-effect, drag current, optical rectification.
